Sardar vallabh Bhai Patel
- He was first Deputy Prime Minister of India and Home Minister of Independent India.
- He (1875-1950) is the one whose statue is in Gujarat. The name of Statue is Statue of Unity – 182 meters (597 feet).
- This Statue is situated on the bank of Narmada River.
- This Statue is designed by Indian Sculpture Ram. V. Sutar.
- There is Dam which is Sardar Sarover Dam on Narmada River.

- He is also known as Father of Indian Constitution.
- He is one who established Bahishkrit Hitkarini Sabha( outcast welfare association ) in 1923.
- In 1927 he led Mahad March at Chowdar Tank.
- In 1930 he launched Temple Entry Movement at kalaram Temple.
- He Sign a pact Pact with Gandhi which is known as Poona Pact on 24 September 1932, at Yerawada Central Jail in Pune. It resolved a major conflict between Mahatma Gandhi and BR Ambedkar regarding the political representation of the depressed classes(now schedule classes).
- He was the first law minister of Independent India. He was also the chairman of Drafting Committee.
- On 14 October 1956 , He embraced Buddhism and left Hinduism.
